Update from Kenny Bevans – Oct 12, 2025

Well, it’s October 12th and I’m down at my lease putting some final touches together. Just wanted to give you guys an update on how things are going so far this season. I’ve only had one sit so far, and unfortunately, the target buck I was after got killed. Some of you might’ve seen that already on another post or over on my Instagram or Facebook.

Right now, I don’t have a specific target buck showing up yet, but things are looking good. I’ve got an Evolved Killer Food Plot planted along this powerline, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. You can see it behind me — it came in thick and green despite the dry stretch we had earlier in the year.

I’ve also got a Redneck blind set up on the edge of the plot, and I’m planning to hang a Stealth Cam over a scrape or maybe even make a new mock scrape with some Black Widow Deer Lures. The sign around here is starting to pick up, and it feels like we’re right on the edge of things breaking loose.

A lot of guys on the Whitetail Edge team have already knocked down some great bucks, which just fires me up even more. My vacation starts here in a couple of weeks, and I’ll have three or four weeks off to hunt hard. Hopefully next time I check in, I’ll have a big one on the ground.
