August 3, 2025 – Kenny Bevans: Prepping Blinds for Soybean Season
Well, it’s August 3rd and it’s a warm one down here at the lease. Just finished swapping out the old burlap cover on one of my Redneck Ghillie Blinds. That thing had been hanging on for about four years—it was time. Got a brand new ghillie wrap on it now, and it’s set up overlooking the soybean field.
This is one of those spots that always heats up during late season—especially when I’ve got standing beans and the neighbors don’t. It turns into a magnet.
I’m heading over to check another blind to see what work it needs. Just trying to knock out these little projects now while I can. Season’s creeping up fast. Appreciate y’all following along—stay tuned!
