July 29, 2025 – Jesse Staab: Setting the Trap on the Missouri Farm
Back at it again on my Missouri farm today. We’re working on a two-acre plot—putting in greens with a transition zone that’ll lead straight into the grain. I’ve got a Redneck blind set up right where that changeover happens.
I also mulched in a trail behind the house that runs along the ridge. The cool thing is, with the way the wind rolls, my scent blows over the ridge into the neighbor’s pasture—perfect setup for staying undetected.
Fertilizer is already down on this end. Still need to hit the far side of the farm with the same treatment. Ponds are holding water great. We’ve got a couple Novix sets to hang yet, two Rednecks in place, and I’ll probably throw a few more Stealth Cams up to keep tabs on
