July 17, 2025 – Jason Pollock: Sneak In, Sneak Out Food Plot

Just carved out a small little kill plot today — nothing big, just the kind of spot that might catch a few does hanging around before they head out to the grain. It’s shaped kind of like a bean, and I can shoot the whole thing from one spot. That’s what makes it deadly.

What I like most about this spot? It’s easy in, easy out. South or southwest wind sets up perfect with nothing coming in behind me. Deer will filter through, and I’ll be able to slip in undetected.

Next step is getting a camera hung and prepping it for fall — probably get in here soon to spray and get this place really dialed in. Hoping it turns into a sweet little ambush spot.
